Spiritual Warfare!

Website that supports the concept of spiritual warfare as valid.

This site first talks about how the concept of spiritual warfare is used through out the whole bible. In the Old Testament it is apparent that Satan is the enemy of God, and that he actively seeks to oppose God, His purposes, and His people. In the Gospels, Satan is recorded one time when he sought to tempt our Lord to renounce His submission to the Father by acting independently for His own selfish gain. And of course,in the New Testament, Ephesians chapter 6 is one of the most specific texts of the spiritual war.
As a conclusion, this site posted the following:

“There is a war going on. It is not a war that is like the wars which are currently going on between nations today (although such wars may be a part of the bigger war). It is a spiritual war. It is a war between Satan and his fallen celestial allies and Christ and His church. It is an invisible war in that we fight against unseen forces. It is therefore a war which must be waged by faith, and not by sight. It is a war that we cannot fight in our own strength, but only in the strength which God Himself supplies.”

I could not find a website which questioned the validity of spiritual warfare but I found one that contradicts what many people think spiritual warfare is. Here is what is says:

"How does Peter instruct believers to react to this attack? Not by talking about how you are going to run the Devil out of town or give him a black eye or even two black eyes. Not by binding or rebuking him. Instead, the Scriptures say that we are to "resist him" (1 Pe. 5:9). The same command is given in James 4:7 and Ephesians 6:11,13,14. This is what the Bible specifically, repeatedly, clearly says is to be our strategy when Satan attacks a believer: "Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Scripture does not say to develop from experience a formula of rebuking, binding, insulting, or arguing with Satan and the demonic. Instead, we are to follow God's explicit instructions on this issue. By habitually following God's Word, we will see the Lord bring stability and character into our lives, including the type of endurance that we need in order to engage in spiritual warfare without fainting in the day of battle."

Hablando con mis papas! =P

Al hablar con mis papas a cerca de mi personalidad y de mis dones espirituales ellos se asombraron bastante ya que se dieron cuenta lo mucho que concuerdan los resultados con lo que yo soy diariamente. Estuvieron super de acuerdo con todo ya que me han visto actuar acorde a lo que dicen los resultados de mi personalidad y también me dijeron como hay una gran relación entre mi personalidad y mis dones espirituales.
Al hablar con ellos, pude yo también reconocer cada aspecto de mi personalidad y ver como tiene sus ventajas y buenas cosas y a la vez, tiene sus desventajas y defectos, como todo en este mundo.

Mi historia con Jesus!

No hay nada como tener un amigo. Un amigo en el que puedes confiar y decirle todo lo que te pasa y como te sientes, un amigo que te entiende y siempre va a querer lo mejor para ti, un amigo que nunca te cambiaria y seria fiel a ti, un amigo que te aconseja y te recibe cuando los demás te rechazan, un amigo que te perdona sin importar por que le fallaste, un amigo que te ama con un amor incondicional y daría hasta su vida por ti. Muchas personas me dirían que una persona con todas esas cualidades no existe, pero se equivocan por que ese amigo si existe y es Jesús, mi amigo.

Ya han pasado varios años desde que conocí a Jesús y puedo asegurar que el amor que siento por el cada día crece más. Lo conocí un día cuando iba a una comunidad pobre a entregarles regalos a los niños y a presentarle a Jesús. En ese momento yo no lo conocía, así que me preguntaron que como iba a ir yo a presentarles a Jesús a estos niños sin que yo misma lo conociera. Lo conocí sentada en un sofá, él, mi tía Fina, la que me lo presento y yo. Pero para ser honesta, ahí no fue donde comenzó mi verdadera y profunda amistad con el. Yo hablaba con el en las noches y leía a cerca de el y sus consejos para mi pero eso no era suficiente en ese momento. Mi familia también lo conocía pero todos sentíamos que nos faltaba algo más, teníamos un deseo de conocerlo aun más. Fue entonces cuando llegamos a su casa Crossroads Bible Church. Desde ahí pude conocerlo muchísimo mas, mi confianza y fe en el a aumentado increíblemente, me ha ayudado a tomar buenas decisiones en mi vida, nunca me ha hecho falta y a pesar de las veces que le he fallado y me he apartado de él, él siempre ha estado ahí para mi, para acogerme, ayudarme y perdonarme, por que eso es lo que hace un verdadero amigo como Jesús.

Vivir una vida a lado de mi amigo Jesús es algo que no cambiaria por nada de este mundo. Él dio la vida por mí, para salvarme, ahora yo quiero entregarle la mía al servirle, honrarlo, obedecerlo y alabarlo diariamente, con mis acciones y pensamientos y presentándoselo a los que aun no lo conocen.

Dones Espirituales

Los dones espirituales que mas tengo yo, según el test, son el de Servicio, Administración, Fe, Misiones, Dar y Ayudar.
Tuve la oportunidad de tomar las clases de Dones Espirituales los miércoles por 3 semanas y ahí pude conocer como los dones espirituales son aquellas capacidades dadas por Dios para su gloria. Estos dones son dados al nacer espiritualmente y se ligan mucho con los Frutos del Espíritu ya que de nada sirve tener un don si no producimos los frutos primero.
También, debemos saber que los dones no son para glorificarnos a nosotros sino a Dios y son para servir y beneficiar a otros pero a pesar de esto, Dios igual nos bendice a través de ellos.
Mi highest store en el test de los Dones Espirituales fue el don del Servicio. Seguido a este está el don de Administración, de Fe, de Misiones, de Dar y de Ayudar. Me pareció súper cool tomar este test por que te muestra las aéreas en las que eres un poco débil y las áreas en que te puedes desarrollar súper bien!
